Bay Area water providers have consistently faced difficulties in managing recreational activities on watershed lands
At the April 2023 Parks & Open Space meeting, Lisa Wayne, Watershed and Recreation Manager for Crystal Springs Watershed and Scott Hill, Manager of Watershed and Recreation for East Bay Municipal Utility District shared the challenges and successes they have found. Keeping our water clean and our biodiversity rich while providing recreation on watershed lands has been an ongoing challenge for Bay Area water providers.
