Five Parks and Open Space Seasonals Reports and Martin Lowenstein from Friends of China Camp
Five Parks and Open Space Seasonals will each give a 7 minutes speed presentation on their efforts this summer:
- Colleen Herr: Castilleja affinis ssp. neglecta monitoring at Ring Mountain
- Pierro Becker: Harbor Seal Monitoring
- Ella Caraker: Wildlife Docent Program – Focus on Foothill Yellow-Legged Frogs
- Jacob Martin: Fuel Reduction – Before / After Monitoring
- Simon Harris: Early Detection / Rapid Response Program

| Speaker: Martin Lowenstein As the first executive director of Friends of China Camp, Martin has successfully raised the profile and grown community involvement and commitment to the park. During his seven years with FOCC, membership has grown from 200 to 3,000, volunteerism is at an all-time high, and the park enjoys financial sustainability despite the lack of public funding. |
