Marin County’s Bay & Coastal Policies

Join the Bay and Coastal Habitats Committee (BCHC) for our October meeting with Michelle Levenson, Principal Planner, and Julia Krog, Deputy Director of Planning Services, from Marin County’s Community Development Agency.

We’ll explore how the County’s Bayfront Conservation Zone and Local Coastal Program protect and enhance habitats, the threats facing Marin’s Bay and coastal areas, and how new state requirements for sea-level rise planning under SB 272 will shape this work.
