Learn About “Call Marin Home” – A New Housing Advocady Coalition
Jenny Silva, Call Marin Home and Jessy Roundtree, Greenbelt Alliance will be our guest speakers. Jenny and Jessy will educate us on “Call Marin Home” a recently formed housing advocacy coalition. Call Marin Home partners a numerous Marin-based housing advocacy organizations under one “umbrella.” Its mission is to advocate housing production (primarily affordable and workforce housing), preservation of the existing housing stock, and protection for existing tenants.

Jenny Silva is the Executive Director for Call Marin Home. Jenny was formerly the Executive Director for the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative (MEHC) and has been involved in housing advocacy in Marin since 2018. She oversaw the transition of MEHC from an independent, volunteer-based organization to Call Marin Home, a staffed housing coalition.

Jessy Roundtree is the Marin Resilience Manager at Greenbelt Alliance, Jessie works alongside partners and communities to create a shared vision for resilience—one that brings together equity, conservation, and abundant climate-SMART housing.
Report on Seminary @ Strawberry Project and Final EIR
The County of Marin recently released the Final Environmental Impact Report (Final EIR) for the Seminary @ Strawberry planned development project. There will be a status report on the project, the Final EIR, and next steps in the County’s review process. There will be time for discussion on how MCL will proceed with reviewing the Final EIR and taking a position on the project.
