From time to time, environmental issues come along that prove, once again, that the environmental community in Marin is not a monolith. Environmentalists who may have similar long-term aims may differ in tactics or on specific goals. The current issue of a vote on Marin Municipal Water District’s (MMWD) plan to construct a desalination plant is one such case.
