Betsy Bikle is President of the Mill Valley StreamKeepers, whose mission is to protect and restore Mill Valley’s watersheds. Active in MCL for a number of years, first as part time employee and later as member of the Parks and Open Space and the Creeks, Wetlands, and Watersheds Committees. Betsy has concentrated her efforts on watershed issues, working with property owners, homeowners’ associations, city employees, planning and council members, MCSTOPPP, Friends of 5 Creeks in Berkeley, regional groups such as the North Bay Watershed Association and the Marin County Watershed Program and SF Bay Joint Venture Project. She holds a B.A. degree in Botany and Bacteriology from Wellesley College, and an M.L.A., Master in Landscape Architecture, with emphasis on regional planning from University of Pennsylvania.
