Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM)

The Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) is a joint powers agency (JPA) comprised of Marin's 11 cities and towns and the County of Marin. It was created to administer the Marin County Transportation Sales Tax Expenditure Plan - approved by Marin voters in November 2004 as Measure A, a 20-year, 1/2 cent sales tax for transportation - and to serve as Marin's Congestion Management Agency.

TAM is responsible for coodinating funding for many of the transportation programs in Marin County.
